This Christmas season, the Fauquier Community Theatre is putting on a rendition of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical” and you won’t want to miss it! This ever-charming musical based on the book, movie, and play of the same name is full of non-stop laughs and shenanigans that will have you laughing and feeling the Christmas spirit all at the same time.

“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical” Plot

The Herdmans are the worst behaved kids in school, so when they crash Sunday school for the snacks and demand parts in the annual Christmas pageant, hijinks and hilarity ensue.  Many folks call for the removal of the Herdmans from the show, but the show’s director, Grace, and the Reverend see more than what meets the eye in the children. Though it’s a bumpy ride and not-so-silent night to get there, the show must go on!

About The Theatre

In 1978 a group of theatre-loving volunteers founded The Fauquier Community Theatre with a dream to provide theatre to their local community. They seek to provide “rewarding and memorable aesthetic experiences to [their] audiences, participants, and supporters and to be a valued cultural asset of the community.” Over 40 years later the dream is still going strong; the Fauquier Community Theatre has been putting on shows every year since their founding!
