Engine & Performance Aspects of the 2019 Corolla

The 2019 Corolla comes with two engine choices for drivers. First, there’s a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 132 hp and 128 lb-ft of torque. It is equipped with a continuously variable automatic transmission and comes standard with the base L trim. Secondly, there’s a different engine that comes with the LE Eco. It makes 140 hp and 126 lb-ft of torque. The LE Eco also adds a different suspension tuning and enhanced aerodynamics. The other trim levels (LE, SE, XSE, and XLE) come with the same engine provided with the base trim.
