The 2022 Toyota Highlander introduces a new Hybrid Bronze Edition model that is coated in either Cement, Wind Chill Pearl, or Midnight Black Metallic paint along with 18-inch bronze wheels and unique bronze stitching. Additionally, the XLE trim and up arrives with a height-adjustable power-seat for the front passenger.
The Hybrid Bronze Edition is available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Design features include bronze-colored accents on the exterior and interior, bronze interior stitching, illuminated bronze floor sills, and modern SofTex-trimmed seats with bronze stitching. Available only on the Hybrid Bronze Edition are floor and cargo mats that are emblazoned with a special bronze logo.
Hybrid Bronze Edition standard features include: rain-sensing wipers, a digital rearview mirror, in-dash ambient lighting, hands-free power liftgate, among others.

The Highlander’s exterior features a black grille with silver trim. The Limited and Premium’s grille boasts of a black grille with chrome trim, LED fog lights, and 20-inch alloy wheels. Furthermore, the Platinum trim comes with a silver painted front and rear bumper, along with a distinct 20-inch wheel.
The Highlander’s L and LE trims house a second-row bench seat that increases seating capacity to eight. The XLE, Limited, and Platinum trims come with a second-row captain’s chair with seating for seven. Cargo space is in abundance thanks to split fold-flat third-row seats and a versatile cargo area. The Highlander offers 16 cubic feet of space behind the third row, while the folding third-row seating increases the cargo space to 48.4 cubic feet. Folding second-row seats further increases the amount of space to 84.3 cubic feet.
The 2022 Highlander houses a 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 295 horsepower. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and either front- or all-wheel drive. The Hybrid utilizes a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors that produce 243 horsepower. The Hybrid comes with a continuously variable transmission and either front- or all-wheel drive.
