Interior Review of the 2024 Toyota Crown

The 2024 Toyota Crown features a 100 cubic-foot passenger cabin with seating for five adults. All trims have heated and power-adjustable driver and front passenger seats. The XLE trim gets cloth upholstery, while the Limited trim upgrades to Softex®-trimmed seats. Meanwhile, the Platinum trim has leather seats.

The Limited and Platinum trims also add ventilation to the front seats and heating to the outboard rear seats. In addition, the steering wheel gains heating. Moreover, a panoramic fixed glass roof with a powered sunshade is present for these two trims.

Exterior Review of the 2024 Toyota Crown

The 2024 Toyota Crown’s design is unchanged from the 2023 model. The Crown has been singled out for being a head-turner, thanks to its sedan body style bearing some SUV styling cues. The raised ride height is also said to ease entry and exit to and from the passenger cabin.

The XLE trim gets bi-LED projector headlamps, while the Limited and Platinum come with quad-LED units. All trims have auto-on/off, automatic high beams, and LED daytime running lamps.

Toyota offers the 2024 Crown in nine colors that include:

  • Black

  • Heavy Metal with black bi-tone

  • Bronze Age with black bi-tone

Power and Performance of the 2024 Toyota Crown

The 2024 Toyota Crown range has two trim-dependent powertrains, both hybrid systems. All trims also come with all-wheel drive as standard.

The XLE and Limited trims have a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine, three electric motors, and a CVT gearbox. Together, they produce 236 horsepower. The 0-60 time for this powertrain is 7.2 seconds.

The Platinum trim gets a turbocharged hybrid powertrain called the HYBRID MAX. This uses a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, two electric motors, and a six-speed automatic transmission.
