The 2024 Prius is rated to seat up to five adults across two rows. Toyota’s redesigned cabin for the fifth generation reverted to a more conventional and driver-focused theme. All variants include a faux leather-trimmed steering wheel.
The LE trim comes with fabric seats. Choosing XLE or Limited grants you SofTex® seats and adds power adjustment for the driver seat. The XLE trim also brings heated front seats. Limited trim gains ventilation for the front seats and can be optioned with heated rear seats.

The 2024 Toyota Prius is powered by Toyota’s latest Hybrid Synergy Drive parallel hybrid system. The powertrain utilizes a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine plus an electric motor. The two power sources combine their power via an electronic continuously variable transmission. Toyota rates the total system output at 194 horsepower for front-wheel-drive variants.
Choosing an all-wheel-drive variant sees a second electric motor added to the rear axle. The total system power output rises to 196 horsepower. Independent testing has confirmed that the 2024 Prius can accelerate from 0-60 in as low as 7 seconds.
